War of the Worlds

BToni da Silva shot the 1-1 against Hoppenheimorussia Dortmund vs TSG Hoffenheim. Natural vs Fake. Down-to-earth boys vs Legionaries. Tradition vs Art project. Good vs Evil.

So here we go again. Every season the black and yellow train has to travel to a small village with a population of roughly 3,000. There a businessman called Dietmar Hopp managed to lead his "Dorfklub" with loads of his money to the Bundesliga. Overnight this son of his mother built a stadium somewhere around Sinsheim in the nowhere and as well as its supporters, it is characterized by lack of emotion. Furthermore he distinguished himself with doing a great job with young talents from the Rhein-Neckar region, but like a flash he overthrew his conception when he realised, that it was not characterized by success. Some readers might have recognized the signing of Dutchman Ryan Babel that can be seen a symbol for the dishonest change of concept.

After the firing of founding father Ralf Rangnick, Didi restored Marco Pezzaiuoili in office to guide this plastic club to get back into shallow waters. Fortunately he carried on Rangnick's work with only eight points out of eight matches and place nine. It is only a matter of time until uncle Hopp will loosen the purse strings again.

But enough is enough! Back to the sunny side of life!

Waiting for LucasBorussia Dortmund is clear ahead with an advantage of 12 points. The next follower is Bayer Leverkusen but it is truely not arrogant to state, that the pharmacists have only a slim chance to catch up with Borussia. Who does not believe in the championship? To lose the lead really would be a bad stroke of luck!

The temporary situation is kind of painted black. Unfortunately Mats Hummels is still grappling with a back injury – his appearance is really questionable. Jürgen Klopp stated: "His situation hasn't improved much." Lucas Barrios consorts with our centre-back because of a calf injury, but is more confident to be part of the team on Saturday. Felipe Santana will take the place of Mats Hummels and this can compared with a win – this season Borussia Dortmund absolved all matches with a clean sheet when Felipe Santana was in the starting lineup! The absence of the panther would bring along a rotation in our offense. It is obvious that youngster Mario Götze would fill the position of Robert Lewandowski who would be compelled to replace Lucas Barrios as center-forward. As if this rotation was not enough a vital component, our Polish midfielder Kuba, was not able to absolve the full training sessions, too.

Nevertheless our medicine staff will condition the majority of our players to be able to play against Hoffenheim! Now the challenge for the team is to keep up the good work!
