Man musste auf das Schlimmste gefasst sein, und es kam doch schlimmer. Die gern gestellte Frage, was eigentlich bestimmte Gäste für ihren Besuch in einer Talkshow qualifiziert, darf im Falle von Johannes B. Kerner als eindeutig beantwortet gelten: Plattester Populismus und die Fähigkeit mit reichlich Melodramatik und einer guten Portion Ahnungslosigkeit jederzeit Parolen für das abzusondern, was die Bild-Zeitung gerne als ‚gesundes Volksempfinden' ausgibt. Das Thema ist da zweitrangig und war nach der Fußballgewalt-Mediendauerschleife der letzten Wochen und dem DFB-Urteil zum vermeintlichen Skandalspiel in Düsseldorf nach Talkshow-Gesetzmäßigkeiten wenig überraschend: „Gewaltige Leidenschaft – wer schützt den Fußball vor seinen Fans?" lautete also die Frage und los ging's.

Von Brandstiftern und Aliens

Gott, was bin ich froh! So froh, dass Sommerpause ist und mal so gar nicht über Fußball geredet wird. Aber wirklich so gar nicht. Weil das, was momentan so in der deutschen Medienlandschaft rauf und runter diskutiert wird, ja wirklich überhaupt nix mit Fußball zu tun hat. Eher mit geistiger Brandstiftung.

Timing ist alles

Alles war angerichtet für den perfekten Fussballabend. Ein paar Freunde hatten sich bereit gefunden, das Spiel mit mir zu schauen und keiner von ihnen - wir reden hier immerhin von modebewussten Studenten - würde sich an der neongelben Farbe meines 95er-Trikots stören. Für mich war der gesamte Abend durchgeplant. Nichts konnte mich stoppen. Alles sollte genau so laufen, wie ich – und zwar allein ich – es geplant hatte. Seit Wochen hatte ich bei keiner einschlägigen Internetseite mehr nachgeschaut, wann das Spiel der Spiele überhaupt anfing. Somit war ich am Samstagabend restlos davon überzeugt, dass das Finale um zwanzig Uhr dreißig losgehen würde.

Bayern don't lose two years in a row. Without Sahin Dortmund is nothing. They're too hungover from last year's party. You can't expect players like Grosskreutz, Schmelzer, and Subotic to step up again. Klopp got lucky. Doubts. Concerns. Insults. MEISTER!

Cup Victory Berlin - several impressions

It has been some time after the cup final match in Berlin saw the final whistle and the victory of Ballspielverein Borussia from Dortmund. However, even our editors need some time to rest, to dream in disbelief, to celebrate and to collect texts from other parts of the country to create a match report which is hopefully worthy for a match which finalized the double victory. Therefore, we apologize for the pretty late delivery but we are sure that all of you understand the reasons. Have fun with the reports of several Dortmund fans united under one flag - the cup final in Berlin. Cup final, May 12th in Berlin - DO it again Borussia!

What a great season 2011/2012! Borussia Dortmund is German Champion again! The second time in a row - for most of us (including me) a big surprise after winning the title last year. Meanwhile, a lot has been written about the new Deutscher Meister 2012, our sensational team, our sensational coach, our sensational team spirit and a lot of sensational matches. Aren't there enough sensations for this season? No! We all are full of hope that we will experience another sensation. On Saturday, our Borussia will play the Cup final in Berlin's Olympiastadium against the almighty team of Bayern Munich. Yes, it's Bayern Munich again, the all time favourite in the Bundesliga. This season "only" Vice Champion in the league but one week later on May 19th, the opponent of Chelsea in this year's Champions League final. But don't let us waste our time thinking about Bayern! Much more important is: It's Borussia Dortmund's great chance to write history in 2012 – winning the double for the first time in our club's chronicle!
