Hornschuh on loan to FC Ingolstadt
Borussia Dortmund loans out U21 international Marc Hornschuh (20) to the second division club FC Ingolstadt until the 30th of June 2013. He is currently undergoing the mandatory medical check at the relegation-threatened club.
If Ingolstadt is not staying up in the second division this season, Hornschuh will already return to Dortmund this summer. The central as well as wingback defender has currently no appearance to report in the professional squad. Before the on loan deal was sealed, Hornschuh extended his contract with the BVB to 2014. After Julian Koch (Duisburg, meanwhile back to the BVB), Lasse Sobiech (St. Pauli), Daniel Ginczek (Bochum) and Marco Stiepermann (Aachen), Hornschuh is the fifth young Dortmunder player in the second division to gain match practice on a loan basis.
