They came for Cohen and became Borussians - BVB Fans from Dublin

There are BVB supporters all over the world. Dublin, Ireland is no exception. When we heared that two of them were coming to Dortmund to visit their first live match at the mighty Westfalenstadion we had to meet them for a chat. In our video interview Bernardine and Trish, two lovely Irish girls, told us how they came across Borussia Dortmund, why they don't care so much about the EPL and why they were celebrating, when Ireland got thrashed by Germany in their hometown. And last but not least about their battle to form an official BVB Fan Club in Dublin, which has not been successful so far, due to communication problems with their favourite club. Carry on girls, the Emerald Isle needs some black'n'yellow spots.

Hello, I am a fan of Bvb also from Dublin, Ireland, I have been since 2005. I have been going to matches with my father and friends since then have seen many matches at the Westfalen Stadion. I have about 5 friends who consistently attend matches with me for the atmosphere, as all are premier league fans. I have been attempting to create a fanclub here but with lack of numbers never have had the opportunity. Our group plan on being in Dortmund for a game in February when the fixtures are announced. If the Irish fans wish to get in contact with myself to join more members,

Hi Guys,

I am a recently new fan of BvB09 after living here in Dortmund for a while but I'm based in dublin. I will be moving back before christmas. I would love to be involved in setting up a Fan base in Dublin to promote BvB09, of course but also the Bundesliga!

Rory O'Brien's BVB Irish Dundrum fans club now numbers 18 and every one of them will be in Signal Iduna Park on Saturday 9th February versus Hamburg. Oldest fan is 68 years and going for his first match. Most likely to be in the Barock bar before the game if anyone interested in saying hello.
