It's the one team we have not beaten at home in Bundesliga. It's one of the most hated clubs in Dortmund. Hoffenheim, sponsored and ruled by software billionaire Dietmar Hopp who took the club from the minor leagues all the way into the Bundesliga with his money. But despite all the efforts a club on the decline. The customers refuse to watch the matches since all they get to see are average players trying to avoid relegation. The former stars are running away and the pubicity move to sign St. Pauli idol Holger Stanislawski has not helped to make this project more sympathetic at all. The worst blow to Hoffenheim's PR came from their own staff when they tried to censor the chants of the BVB supporters with a loud horn underneath the guest sector of their stadium. With Hopp's connections they managed to avoid any fine for this breach of the rules but their reputation suffered a serious blow since the BVB supporters continued to create public attention and nobody really believed their explanation that it was a janitor acting on his own.
