Kuba - Please stop moaning
Skipper of Polands XI, Poland's very own Figo, a revelation on the right, a big promise for the future but still it has been going downhill for the big melancholic Kuba ever since he signed his contract in Dortmund in the summer of 2007. When his last minute goal in Hamburg secured an important draw on the Young Guns way to the title, Kuba had already lost his place in the starting XI.
During the summer break he could not turn things around, the first few matches of this season have shown that Kuba currently is nothing more than a bench player. He wasted most of his chances when starting, most mentionable his disastrous match against Hertha Berlin. Still Kuba is unhappy about his situation in Dortmund. In an interview with Polish TV station „Polsat Sport“ Kuba complained about his situation in Dortmund: „I am not happy about the way I am exploited in Dortmund“, said Kuba, who believes that he’d be more help for the Young Guns when guaranteed more space up front. „Of course I don’t like the fact, I don’t play that much. I will do everything that this is going to change in the future“ the right wing continued.
The 25year old Kuba, on a contract until 2013, leaves his Dortmund future wide open. „Let’s wait until December. Some things have to end at some point. If I don’t get the chance to play often enough, I don’t necessarily have to prove my skills in Dortmund“ he moaned.
With Euro 2012 on his mind Kuba seems to eye a loan back to his former club Wisla Krakow.
Polish media speculates on the Polish skipper returning home during the winter transfer period. „Both sides have to agree, not only one“ adds Kuba, not sure whether Borussia Dortmund would agree on a loan deal. Of course, Polish media sometimes tends to exaggerate things but it almost seems certain that one of my favourite players in our squad is slowly turning into a wretched sissy.
