Skipper Kehl back in training

Skipper Kehl returned to team training today after suffering an eyeball contusion from the karate kick of Marseilles Mbia. What looked much worse (Kehl: "I looked like after a fight with both Klitschkos") might turn out to be a minor setback.

The last check at a Bochum hospital came up with positive results. Kehl: "The development is positive. We will talk about how we go on now and if I can train normally, the Freiburg match is doable." So there is finally some hope for Borussia's central midfield. If Kehl can return in the shape he showed against Marseille he will give our game more stability and since Ilkay Gündogan seems to get better step by step in the last matches the prospects for the last two matches before the winter break woud not look all that bad at all. No offense, but Toni "Slow-Mo" da Silva could not replace our skipper at all.

Kehl's fighting spirit could lift up some of the wearied young-guns. Come on lads just two more to go before the well-deserved break.
