Lewandowski injured while training with national team
Anyone complaining about a lack of internationals on our team? We are certainly not. Some 13 Borussia players travelled to their respective teams early on this week. It appears that one of them might not come back with full fitness. As Reviersport reports Robert Lewandowski stopped his training session with the Polish team early and walked of the training pitch with ice packs on his swollen foot. In a one to one situation his Borussia teammate Lukas Piszczek had hit his foot. According to Polish media reports it is only a heavy bruise. We will however keep you updated on the development. Keep your fingers crossed it is only a heavy bruise as a bigger injury would be a huge setback not only for young Lewandowski but also for our team.
