The eagle has landed
The team touched down on Baku airport this Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by the friendly airport staff with a special treatment. In advance Borussia had bought a VIP treatment to get their visa and rush through customs at 150€ (instead of 60€ for a normal visa) but had to wait for 90minutes to be waved through. Local paper Ruhrnachrichten headlines: "Harassment at deserted Baku airport". Their journalist, Sascha Fligge, and other journalists, officials and fans who had made the trip with the team had to wait even longer - 150 minutes. Maybe the laptop batteries were not flat yet, and they were able to enjoy a few "Lost" episodes. Stop moaning, this is the international standard we have all been waiting for. So are the prices: Borussia supporters will have to pay 30€ to get into the stadium, whereas local supporters will only have to pay 3€. No matter what happens: Bring on Agdam!
