250 Borussia fans on their way to Baku - No live coverage

What a trip this will be. Some 250 Borussia Dortmund fans are already on their way to Baku or start their trip to the Aserbaijan capital tomorrow. For 186 of them two big fan organizations have chartered a plane which will be leaving for Baku close to midnight - a flight costs them 536€, mental! Even more mental is a group of nine Borussia Dortmund fans who apparently left for Baku last Friday. With a car! Reports on their homepage show they had made it to the Hungarian tonw of Györ on Sunday. This means they only have some 3.600 km left of their journey. Good luck.  As this is the first official BVB European Cup match held on Asian soil (the first official match was played in Tokyo back in 97, winning the Intercontinental Cup against Cruzeiro from Brazil), the Borussia Dortmund fans will see an exotic town and of course will have tales to tell in the future. Hopefully however not that kind of European wonder you see every once in a while. The 4-0 lead from the home leg should be enough for our team to qualify for the group stages.

Bad news however for those who do not make the seven hour trip to Aserbaijan. Borussia Dortmund had to put down the idea of broadcasting via Netradio due to difficulties with broadcasting rights. As of now there will be no pictures or radio from Baku on Thursday. The game kicks off at 9pm local time which is 6pm CET.
