Kuba injured
In the Europa League win over Qarabag Agdam on Thursday, BVB right wing Jakub "Kuba" Blaszczykowski got injured.
He tore a muscle fibre in his right thigh and will be out for approximately two weeks. He should be fit for the home game against Wolfsburg, but will miss the Bundesliga start against Leverkusen on sunday, the return match against Agdam and the away game at Stuttgart.
It will be interesting to see, how coach Klopp will react to this injury, because other than last season, he has plenty of alternatives. He could move Japanese whirlwind Shinji Kagawa to right wing and place Robert Lewandowski behind Super-Lucas Barrios or he could replace Kuba with home grown young-gun Götze, who has even impressed national scarf Jogi Löw lately. Tamas Hajnal, who was out of the squad in the matches at Burghausen and against Agdam, is not an alternative for the starting line-up though, according to coach Klopp he will choose from the players that were on the bench in these matches.
