Klopp joins BVB on one year contract
The Kloppification of BVB proceeds even further. After he changed our style of play to aggressive forechecking and non-stop running, cut most of the old farts from the squad and replaced them with hungry and shapeable young-guns, after the introduction of the BVB-academy to breed even more talent for our first team, now came the time for Jürgen Klopp to think of his loved ones. As a good father he cares to have his family close by and so he gave his son Marc the opportunity to try out for our reserve squad after his contract at Darmstadt 98 ran out.
First, reserve coach Schneider seemed to be quite reserved towards the prospect of offering Marc Klopp a contract, but in the meantime he changed his mind. "Our squad situation allows this and Marc plays on the necessary level", he said today and announced, that our second Kloppo will sign a one year contract.
