Valdez and Kringe on the transfer rumours

Nelson Valdez and Florian Kringe are (besides Dimitar Rangelov) the players most likely to leave BVB before the start of the season. Both Valdez and Kringe have only slim chances to start next season, but are on well payed contracts that run for two more years. The BVB management has made it clear, that the wage budget must be cut further before next season and that Borussia is willing to sell these players, if they get adequate offers for them.

After returning from holiday Nelson Valdez cast doubt on a possible move, even though he had said before the start of the World Cup, that his name was destroyed in Germany.  In the last couple of weeks, there were rumours about possible offers from Sunderland, Fulham and Hercules Alicante, but Valdez said now, he only read about these rumours in the papers as well. Valdez wants to talk about his perspective at BVB with coach Klopp in the next days, but says that even if his chances won´t improve he might consider to stay: "I have a good contract here, that is running for two more years. The last year has been a catastrophy for my family. The house burnt down, the dog died and we had to move three times. Now we have rented a nice house and my wife and kids like it there. I have to take that into consideration." Even if the club would want him to leave, he "won´t run away like a little kid. Noone can force me to leave. They can´t dump me like that."

Florian Kringe has also been told, that BVB is not planning with him anymore. Last season he was loaned to Hertha BSC Berlin but could not help them much in their futile fight against relegation, because he broke his foot twice. He still recovers from this injury and will not return to full team training until the end of August when the transfer window closes. "Everybody knows about the situation. I can´t really present myself now, so I have to wait and see what happens. I have a special bond with this club I grew up in and it was tough for me to be transferred to Berlin last season. I had great times an tough times here in Dortmund, that formed a bond to the club."
