1860 München - BVB 1:1

The next BVB test match at 1860 München ended with a 1:1 draw after 90 rather eventless minutes. Coach Klopp chose not to send in two completely different teams for the two halftimes, but rather gave most starting players more than 60 minutes on the pitch. 1860 went in front with a penalty in the 70th minute, after Owomoyela had tackled Nsereko in the box. That was a rather doubtful decision by the ref, as they seemed to have barely made contact. But maybe ref Arno Blos wanted to give the "Löwen" (lions) a little present for their 150th birthday. As usual Roman Weidenfeller chose to jump as far away from the ball as possible and Ludwig had no problem to net into the centre of the goal.

After the goal the BVB players seemed to remember, that coach Klopp could not have been happy with their performance so far and they increased the pressure. The substitutes Kuba and Götze caused some problems in the 1860 defence. Even Lewandowski, who had been mostly invisible so far, had two chances to score. But it was guest player Toni da Silva who scored the 1:1 equalizer with a hammer from the corner of the box.

All in all a typical preparation kick, that ended with a well deserved draw.

BVB: Weidenfeller - Piszczek (64. Owomoyela), Hummels, Subotic (64. Santana), Schmelzer (46. Dede) - Sahin (64. Feulner), Bender (64. da Silva) - Kagawa (46. Kuba), Lewandowski, Großkreutz (46. Götze) - Rangelov (64. Hajnal).
Goals: 1:0 Ludwig (70., penalty), 1:1 da Silva (80.).
